During the day, surplus solar charges your battery instead of being exported for a few cents. In the evening, your home draws from the battery rather than buying expensive grid electricity, so you use far more of your own clean power.

A home battery stores your solar to use in the evening and overnight, cutting what you draw from the grid at peak times.

Built on BYD Blade (LFP) technology

BYD home batteries use cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry, the same safety-first technology in BYD's electric vehicles. Expect a 15-year warranty.

What size do I need?

Most Irish homes land between 5 and 15 kWh of usable storage, depending on household size and whether you have an EV. The system is modular, so you can start with what you need today and add capacity later.
